Child Empowerment and Support Organisation Uganda (CHESO Uganda) is a Christ-centered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and youth to transform their communities for Christ.
Located in Lwengo District, Uganda, we work to restore hope and create opportunities through education, healthcare, mentorship, and spiritual growth. Guided by Biblical values, we believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and live with dignity.
At CHESO, we focus on holistic transformation — nurturing the mind, body, and spirit — so that every young person can rise above challenges, realize their potential, and become a light in their community.
Empowering children and youth takes more than one approach—it requires nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Through a range of holistic programs, CHESO Uganda works to restore hope, build capacity, and create lasting transformation in communities. Each program is rooted in love, compassion, and a belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Ensures vulnerable children and youth access quality education through school fees support, scholastic materials, and skills training. The vision includes establishing Hope Community Christian High School to provide holistic, Christ-centered education.
Promotes healthy living by providing medical referrals, health education, and essential health supplies. The goal is to establish Cheso Community Health Centre to bring quality healthcare closer to families.
Builds life skills and emotional strength through mentorship, counseling, and child protection training. Holiday camps and youth conferences provide safe spaces for connection, healing, and growth.
Focuses on nurturing faith and spiritual growth through Bible studies, discipleship, community outreaches, and gospel conferences—helping children and youth grow in Christ.
